Position: Maintenance Manager Location: Terre Haute, IN Type: Full-Time | Rotating Shifts | Overtime as Needed We’re seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our 24/7 BolderBlack and BolderOil manufacturing facility. In this critical role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant equipment and infrastructure. You’ll oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and lead turnaround planning—all while supporting continuous operations and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Operations Lead daily maintenance efforts to support 24/7 production. Oversee and manage the CMMS, ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order execution, and reporting. Develop and maintain robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Plan and coordinate maintenance turnarounds and unplanned downtimes to minimize operational disruption. Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and training for maintenance coverage across all shifts. Reliability & Continuous Improvement Analyze downtime and maintenance trends to identify root causes and implement solutions. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to optimize equipment design and performance. Lead reliability-centered projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and cost control. Adhere to and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance and asset performance. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and industry regulations. Champion a strong safety culture through leadership, training, and adherence to company standards. Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and regulatory inspections. Leadership & Team Development Supervise and coach maintenance staff and contractors, promoting accountability and professional growth. Coordinate technical and safety training programs for continuous team development. Manage vendor relationships for equipment, spare parts, and contracted maintenance services. What You’ll Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience in the same or similar position will be strongly considered as well 7+ years of maintenance leadership in heavy industrial environments like petrochemical or refining or other (24/7 operations highly preferred). Demonstrated experience with CMMS platforms and data-driven maintenance strategies. Expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance and managing large-scale turnarounds. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Understanding of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, PSM, etc.). Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
