Description Partner with the Community Manager to ensure the Community Maintenance operations are meeting expectations. Develop maintenance team members; assist in the management of maintenance personnel, including onboarding, regular training, scheduling work assignments, associate training and development; make recommendations regarding hiring and termination. Conduct and document weekly safety meetings, including procedures, training, safety equipment, and use of equipment. Assist maintenance teams on day-to-day operations when there is a shortage or need. Assistant to include but not limited to; work orders, apartment turns, repairs, and any additional items that may arise. Set up and organize all new maintenance shops along with a maintenance checklist for each new community. Work with the Regional Manager to assist with implementing programs to maximize revenue, control expenses, and improve resident satisfaction. Develop a scope of work for any site projects. Maintain accurate records for all regional services performed and contracts. Inspect grounds, buildings, and apartment homes on a regular basis to ensure that all physical aspects of the community are fully functional at all times.
Responsibilities
Oversee community maintenance operations and lead the maintenance team through training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure the physical functionality of the community through regular inspections and the implementation of revenue-maximizing programs.
