Description

Your Role at Cabot:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Maintenance Manager who will take the maintenance process at our production site to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of installations, increasing plant efficiency and making optimal use of resources, within the framework of safety, environment and CABOT’s policy guidelines. In this role, you are also a member of the SLT (Site Leadership Team) and report to the Plant manager.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Managing and coaching the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient use of the assets
  • Execute maintenance projects in accordance with procedures within the established budget and schedule.
  • Maximizing plant availability through preventive, predictive and reliability-oriented maintenance.
  • (co-) Develop and maintain a multi-year plan for site improvements, technological innovations and maintenance strategies.
  • Managing and optimizing the work order system
  • Ensuring the quality of purchased parts and services and managing suppliers and contractors in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including cost forecasting and expense monitoring.
  • Plan and lead maintenance shutdowns with minimal impact on production.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, safety and performance-oriented work.
  • Developing employees through Performance Based Management and close collaboration with other departments.

What You Will Bring to Cabot:

  • Graduate or university degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • 7–15 years of relevant experience in maintenance or engineering in a production environment, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role,
  • Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills,
  • Good fundamental knowledge of safety procedures such as confined space work, lockout/tag-out and permits to work,
  • Experience with Process Safety Management and knowledge of technical standards such as NEN 1010 and NEN 3140,
  • Proficient in budget management, cost control, and investment plans,
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven work attitude,
  • Familiar with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and continuous improvement,
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
