Description

Reporting to the COO, the Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operations of Calgary Heritage Housing (CHH) properties. This position is responsible for overseeing tenant maintenance requests, supervising the Maintenance Team, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring that all maintenance activities meet CHH standards. The Maintenance Manager is a hands-on leader who fosters a culture of safety, responsiveness, and professionalism while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance or operations.
  • Supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
  • Familiarity with OHS regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
