RESIDENT EXPERIENCE:

  • Act as the go-to for escalated maintenance issues, ensuring fast, professional resolution.
  • Collaborate with the on-site operations and resident services teams to minimize disruption.
  • Champion a “first fix” approach and maintain consistently high resident satisfaction scores.

QUALIFICATIONS / WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager (ideally within BTR, PBSA, hospitality, or residential property).
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building fabric, and statutory compliance.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills – able to engage both residents and contractors.
  • Commercially astute with strong budgeting and supplier management experience.
  • Customer-first mindset with a track record of driving service excellence.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful individual will be responsible for all aspects of the building’s maintenance, which will include managing service requests, ensuring works are completed within the agreed SLAs, overseeing any external contractors and helping the Property Manager with any ongoing tenancy-related matters including, health & safety and customer retention.
This opportunity will allow the candidate to play an important role with an international build-to-rent (BTR) management company in its growth in the UK. This opportunity will involve helping the operational platform from the outset as it creates a leading brand with unrivalled resident/customer experience.
