  • Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability manufacturing facilities in a large, global CPG organization. This leader will oversee Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Reliability/Engineering resources, and approximately 80+unionized skilled trades employees.The Senior Maintenance Manager will drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, operational excellence, capital projects, cost optimization, and talent development across unionized manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead maintenance and reliability strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Manage and develop Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers, and skilled trades teams.
  • Drive improvements in maintenance capital projects, PM compliance, and maintenance costs.
  • Lead preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
  • Establish standardized maintenance practices, KPIs, and reliability processes across sites.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering on automation, controls, modernization, and capital projects.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar maintenance budgets, contractors, spare parts, and resources.
  • Lead RCA, TPM, Lean, Continuous Improvement, and breakdown-elimination initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • Work closely with HR and Labour Relations in unionized environments.
  • Build a strong maintenance leadership and succession pipeline.


  • Must-Have QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline – mandatory.
  • 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading unionized manufacturing sites.
  • Strong leadership experience managing Maintenance Supervisors, and large skilled-trades teams.
  • Experience within CPG, food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or highly automated manufacturing.
  • Experience managing large capital projects and multi-million-dollar maintenance budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS, preventive/predictive maintenance, RCM, TPM, Lean, and reliability programs.
  • Strong financial, operational, communication, and people-leadership skills.
