MAINTENANCE MANAGER – FULL TIME

Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, West Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)
Craiglands Hotel is just a short walk from the historic spa town of Ilkley and the iconic Ilkley Moor. With excellent access to Leeds/Bradford Airport and major business centres, our 63-room hotel features eight conference and banqueting suites, Brasserie Restaurant & Antler bar with outdoor terrace, free Wi-Fi, and ample free parking.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Electrical Qualification: Please specify level (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3, 18th Edition, etc.)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in general or hotel maintenance.
  • Minimum 1 year experience related to maintenance, health & safety, and electrical systems.

GENERAL SCOPE AND PURPOSE

To be totally customer-focused by consistently delivering excellent service through an informed, friendly, and efficient approach. You will take full control and accountability for managing the maintenance department, ensuring the hotel’s physical infrastructure is well-maintained and operating efficiently, in line with company policies and brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCUSTOMER FOCUS & OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

  • Ensure continuity of services and utilities with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Fully understand hotel maintenance systems and act proactively to prevent issues.
