Description

Wild Zora Foods (wildzora.com) manufactures and distributes healthy and portable food made from 100% grass-fed beef and free-range chicken, mixed with organic fruits & vegetables. We prepare, dehydrate, package, and ship nationwide from our USDA-certified manufacturing facility located in Loveland, Colorado. Our unique meals and snacks are healthy AND delicious!
Candidate must have experience in large-scale manufacturing equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities will include fixing and maintaining all manufacturing machines in our facility, including proactively organizing spare parts and communicating with manufacturers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all machines.

JOB SKILL FAMILIARITY MUST INCLUDE:

  • Mechanical machines with or without computerized controls
  • Basic electrical & plumbing
  • HV/AC troubleshooting & maintenance
  • Spare parts management
  • Detailed reporting and documentation of all maintenance, & repairs
  • Facility maintenance, including security, safety, and ensuring minimum downtime and maximum efficiency of all equipment.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of systems & policies to maximize productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Willingness to be available and communicative at all times — responsibility for safety and security does not stop after-hours.

THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

  • Minimum five-years experience in manufacturing machine maintenance, food manufacturing preferred.
  • Background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Computer skills preferred.
  • Practicality and initiative in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; experience working directly with startup business owners is preferred.
  • Results-oriented; demonstrating persistence and resilience in the face of obstacles.
  • Extreme attention to detail — there can be no compromise when it comes to food and staff safety!
  • Organized, productive, efficient, consistent, and absolutely reliable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the more subtle art of knowing when and how to be open, honest, and direct.
  • Thirst for learning and improvement! Our leadership team members are avid readers and continuously incorporate new learnings, systems, & processes.
  • Positive and optimistic attitude; yes, the cup is half-full!
  • Sense of humor, capable of hearty laughter and having FUN!
    Most of our products contain meat, so you will need to be comfortable working daily in a meat-processing facility.     This is a full-time, salaried position working in our production plant in Loveland, Colorado. Compensation commensurate with experience. There will also be other benefits including paid vacation, sick-pay, paid holidays, health insurance, and a retirement plan. A minimum of 40-hours per week is expected, but this is an overtime-exempt leadership position and therefore flexibility and responsiveness outside of business hours, including weekends, will be required.
