This role involves ensuring the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of all PCB manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance strategies, effective team leadership, and timely resolution of technical issues, minimising downtime and maximising production output.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience managing a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards - 18th Edition BS7671.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics accurately.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• High level of computer literacy.

  Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2pm.
  Salary: £45,000 to £58,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 maintenance engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Schedule and allocate work assignments, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and timely completion of tasks.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all PCB manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems.
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends, predict potential failures, and implement proactive solutions.
• Manage and maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
• Optimise the usage of any Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.
• Manage maintenance-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections and certifications.
