We are a family-owned business that has operated hotels in Estes Park since 1998. We have four hotels in Estes Park, Colorado: The Silver Moon Inn, The Appenzell Inn, The Estes Mountain Inn, and Hotel Estes. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is self-motivated and is passionate about hospitality.
Our Maintenance Manager can manage multiple hotel properties and is a dynamic leader in a multifaceted role—part technical expert, part operations leader, part strategist, and part diplomat. Success here means balancing hands-on technical oversight with big-picture planning, ensuring all properties run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining guest satisfaction and safety.
SKILL SET & QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in multiple domains—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and perhaps building systems like chillers, boilers, filters
Ability to oversee teams, manage scheduling, conduct evaluations, and ensure high performance
Strong collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders—general managers, front desk, engineering, housekeeping—across all hotels
Emergency situations require cool-headed decision-making and a “jack-of-all-trades” mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Supervise maintenance teams across multiple properties, ensuring each team is well-trained, scheduled properly, and supported
Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs—covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general infrastructure—to keep facilities running smoothly and avoid breakdowns. Create standardized preventive maintenance schedules and protocols, customized for the scale of each hotel but aligned in execution
Conduct regular inspections, manage on-demand repairs, and address maintenance emergencies efficiently to maintain guest comfort and safety
Work with external service providers for specialized repairs and renovation projects, negotiating and ensuring timely delivery
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards; conduct safety training and manage risk assessments
