JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage and improve the process of maintenance operations onsite to ensure failure prevention and failure restoration to an operable condition. Responsibilities include fostering a safe and reliable work environment for all employees and manufacturing areas by meeting Hydro and local Health, Environmental, Safety and Housekeeping standards - secured by following both internal and external standards, incl. ISO 9001/2000, 14001, 45001

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree in technical discipline; or 5 years hands on experience with progressive organization; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Track record of leading a department toward improved equipment reliability
  • Good communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations

PREFERED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance System preferred
