Our client is a leading Industrial Minerals Processing and Mining company with a strong reputation for operational excellence, safety, and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the development and execution of a world-class maintenance program.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, repair, reliability, and capital projects. This role requires a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and has a track record of building high-performing maintenance teams, driving reliability improvements, and optimizing asset performance. Experience in cement, lime, aggregates, industrial minerals, or other heavy industrial sectors will translate well into this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience in cement, lime, industrial minerals, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial processing industries.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing maintenance programs that drive measurable improvements in uptime and reliability.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and slurry systems (conveyors, crushers, pumps, dryers, screening equipment, kilns).
  • Demonstrated experience managing Capex projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and implement a comprehensive maintenance program focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across all plant systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Plan, budget, and execute capital expenditure (Capex) projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Build, coach, and mentor a skilled maintenance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
  • Monitor KPIs to track reliability, maintenance costs, and project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and environmental regulations.
