Job Purpose - Carry out, supervise or coordinate site repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment and building structures to maintain the Club property in optimal condition and appearance.
Supervise Maintenance Assistant.
Job Tasks/Duties - Undertake and coordinate the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.
Monitos major work carried out by outside contractors and communicates the status and outcome of each project to the Head of Club Experience/General Manager
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.
Supervise, schedule, train and evaluate Maintenance Assistant.
Visually inspect Club areas, public spaces and back of the house areas and undertake general maintenance duties as required
Ensure that all building maintenance, repair and follow-up activities are identified, scheduled and completed.
Undertake and supervise the maintenance of diverse areas of the Club such as parking lots, swimming pools and other recreational areas working with team and external contractors as required.
Keep the workshop areas safe, clean and well-lit.
Respond to maintenance emergencies.
Collects maintenance and work orders from department heads for approval by the Club
Director/General Manager or the Head of Club Experience.
Maintains inventory of maintenance, repair and related supplies.
Fully conversant with the Club’s Health & Safety policy and emergency procedures for fire and accident, reporting any accidents in the prescribed manner; acts as Fire Officer and carries out risk assessments and testing as required; undertakes and ensures compliance of all areas within responsibility including but not exclusively - fire checks, water checks, general safety checks.
Ensure a highly efficient safety programme with emphasis on awareness, discipline and
compliance; implements an overall safety programme that conforms to HSE standards.
Complete other appropriate assignments given by the Club General Manager or the Head of Club Experience.
To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company’s care values
Experience and qualifications in line with duties highlighted. Post-secondary vocational training in electrical engineering, plumbing, HVAC or refrigeration desirable.
Experience of maintenance in a commercial setting and health and fitness environment preferred.
