Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reputable modified asphalt producer/manufacturer seeking an experienced a Maintenance Manager to manage Plant Maintenance & to oversee the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair tanks, pipe design and more (10+ asphalt plants).

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in asphalt plant maintenance and repair, coupled with API knowledge and strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and ensure optimal plant performance.

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and servicing of multiple modified asphalt plants.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant operations.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, coordinating with in-house staff and external vendors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Optimize plant efficiencies and performance through continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among all plant personnel.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in asphalt plant maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of pipe design, API standards, and managing projects at multiple plants
- Proficiency in pipe design, tank repair and mechanical troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
