Job Details Job Location: Milsco Redgranite - Redgranite, WI 54970 Education Level: 4 Year Degree Job Category: Engineering Responsible for the maintenance of all site assets (equipment, facilities, and grounds) and for continuously improving their safety and reliability. Recruit, develop, and retain maintenance department employees as part of building a culture of collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement. Responsible for clearly communicating expectations and holding team members consistently accountable. Oversight of all outside contractors working on plant equipment, facilities, and grounds. Implementation and continuous improvement of best practices related to equipment reliability, such as Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Automated Systems, and Reliability Centered Maintenance activities. Design mechanical modifications and process improvements to enhance equipment performance. Introduce new techniques and implement new technologies utilizing robotics, PLCs, control systems and mechanical upgrades to reduce labor and address ergonomic concerns. Support implementation of Lean methods such as: 5S principles, TPM, SMED and Mistake Proofing throughout the maintenance department and production. Responsible for driving utilization and continuous improvement of the facility’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equilvant education and experience required 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Detailed knowledge of and experience with maintenance best practices such as preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability centered maintenance. Monitor and improve equipment reliability and performance metrics Identify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and cost. Strong mechanical background and hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, PLCs, SCADA systems, and mechanical systems. Proven track record at developing individuals and building effective and collaborative teams within a union setting.
