Description
Position Summary:  The Maintenance Manager supports facility safety and operations by performing general repair and upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment. This role monitors in ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and CMS requirements to provide a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.  Key Responsibilities:  * Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. * Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal facility upkeep.  * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. * Support safety and fire drills, ensuring equipment and systems are functional. * Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and completing facility set-ups as needed.  * Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and ensure tools are stored safely.  Skills & Competencies  * Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols. * Ability to use hand and power tools safely. * Organizational and prioritization skills. * Customer service and communication abilities. Physical & Work Requirements  * Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting (80–300lbswith assistance/equipment).  * Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. * Exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals with PPE provided. Required:  * High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:  * Management experience in healthcare or long-term care maintenance role.
