Ronpak has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager in our Shreveport, LA Plant 7AM - 3PM and may vary to the needs of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 5+ years’ progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Degree: Four-year Degree preferred in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Maintenance Manager reports to the VP of R&D and the Plant Manager and is responsible for supervising and monitoring the maintenance department. The Maintenance Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Maintenance Department through the knowledge of mechanics, machine shop practices, mechanical support and equipment installations and modifications. This position will be a key member of the Food Safety and Quality team and have responsibility for leading implementation and on-going program management/oversight on SQF certification. The Plant Manager is the back up for the Maintenance Manager, and will cover for absences or vacancies.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects data to determine downtime trends, repetitive breakdowns, unplanned breakdowns, etc.
  • Performs physical tasks while working with equipment or machinery
  • Reducing parts inventories and establishing min/max levels to support the inventory by reducing parts usage through machine PM’s, root cause troubleshooting, analyzing broken or worn parts, etc.
