SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. We are looking for a Maintenance Manager that will lead all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role oversees maintenance planning, budgeting, and team leadership, while managing subcontractors and supporting new equipment development projects. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic planning and leadership ability to drive uptime, productivity, and continuous equipment improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities 1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure efficient troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Track performance metrics, provide insights and implement solutions for improvement. 2. Facility Engineering & Infrastructure Oversee maintenance and improvement of building systems (HVAC, utilities, plumbing, etc.). Manage capital improvement and facility upgrade projects to support operational goals. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Coordinate inspections, documentation, and regulatory audits. 3. Equipment Development & Project Support Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams on equipment design, installation, and commissioning. Participate in planning and execution of new equipment development and technology upgrades, provide maintenance input to improve lifecycle cost efficiency. 4. Planning, Budgeting & Resource Management Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures. Optimize maintenance costs through effective scheduling, sourcing, and cost control. Manage subcontractors, service providers, and vendors for specialized maintenance or project work. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety standards for external partners. 5. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team, including engineers, technicians, planners. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to enhance technical skills and career growth. Foster collaboration between maintenance, production, and other departments.
