This role is critical to ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do Supervise and participate in daily maintenance operations for the facility and grounds Perform routine maintenance and hands-on repair projects Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors when specialized repairs are required Direct maintenance of utility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, air) to ensure uninterrupted operations Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies to support operations Recommend improvements to equipment performance, safety, and efficiency Ensure the facility and grounds are clean, attractive, and well maintained Participate in facility process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with fire life safety standards and water regulations Supervise Maintenance Assistant(s), where applicable Maintain punctual and reliable attendance for assigned shifts What You Bring Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and plant equipment operations Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety requirements Proven ability to lead, direct, and motivate a maintenance team Strong communication skills with residents, families, vendors, and all levels of staff Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Why Join Colville Health and Rehab? Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred. Licenses/Certification Current valid driver’s license from the State in which the facility operates. Experience Five years of experience in building maintenance. One year of supervisory experience is preferred. At least one year of long-term care facility experience preferred.
