The Kenrick Hotel, a luxury 67-room destination property nestled in the heart of the Rockies in Banff, Alberta, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in ensuring our property operates smoothly, safely and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pool and hot tub systems; Pool Operators Certificate - Level 1 required.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, including boilers and chillers, is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail orientated approach.
  • Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other hotel departments and management.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, which may include weekends and on-call support for emergencies as needed.
