Description Purpose: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of an organization's facilities and equipment. This role ensures that maintenance procedures are carried out effectively and safely to support operational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties: · Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance activity for buildings, machinery, and systems. · Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and external contractors. · Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. · Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, costs, and expenditures. · Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, equipment warranties, and inspections. · Troubleshoot issues and coordinate emergency repairs as needed. · Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to improve reliability and efficiency. · Procure maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment cost-effectively. Requirements · 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. · Relevant certifications are a plus. · Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role; start-up experience is preferred. · Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. · Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). · Excellent leadership and project management skills. · Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management. · Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Good communication and organizational skills. · Ability to work in a hands-on production facility environment. · May require working outside normal business hours during emergencies or shutdowns.
