Description Maintenance Technician We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This vital role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of our property. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing a variety of routine maintenance tasks to uphold our high standards of property care and resident satisfaction. The position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour and provides an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, welcoming community. Key Responsibilities Daily: - Walk grounds to pick up trash and litter, ensuring all traffic areas are free of hazards - Check dumpster areas for overflowing trash, clean and sweep the areas - Inspect common areas for trash and empty trash containers on site - Check and restock supplies in public restrooms - Inspect laundry rooms for cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment - Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff - Assist with light repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as needed Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience in maintenance, janitorial, or related roles preferred - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus - Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred Join our team and be part of a community that values quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
