QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma ( Mechanical certification preferred)
• 5-7 years previous mechanical experience
• Experience working in dietary supplement manufacturing industry a plus

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 55lbs.
• Position may also require the ability to climb, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and crawl.
• Must be able to perform fine manipulation and simple grasping with hands.

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Observes machinery in operation to locate problems and has the ability to assemble/dismantle mechanical devices.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and blueprints..
• Assist in the maintenance of logs for equipment and machines.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical safety issues.
• Assist the Safety Coordinator in maintaining a safe work environment through engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Uses downtime to inform production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques
• Assist in creating and maintaining work order forms for service requests.
• Complete all electrical and mechanical projects in a timely manner.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
