This is a 3rd shift Maintenance mechanic position. Bradford protects parts and assemblies that go into every car and truck assembly plant in North America and a wide variety of recreational and consumer products. Bradford Company is seeking to hire a talented and highly motivated individual for the position of Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd shift at our Holland, Michigan location. Pay and Benefits: * Pay range for this position is based on qualifications and experience. * Medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, company paid short and long term disability, bonus plan, 401K with company match * Paid time off and paid major holidays Position Summary: Plan and perform complex machine repair and typical plant mechanical maintenance to assure continuous plant operations. Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, drives, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): * Provide maintenance support ranging from simple machines and fixtures to fully automated assembly equipment. Make routine machine set-ups to determine operating difficulties or equipment malfunction. * Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to lay out and check parts, fits, and machine operation. * Maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, drives, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment. * Layout manufacturing fixtures and fabricate those fixtures using various materials. * Operate arc Welder and gas welder. Operate fork lift trucks and maintenace lift. * Perform typical construction and repair of building systems and structures as directed. * Perform facility maintenance. * Follow all Company safety policies. Qualifications and Skills: * 4+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience. * High School diploma or GED * Possess a mechanical aptitude and able to read blueprints and technical schematics * Ability to set-up and operate all related fabrication equipment (mills, lathes, MIG/TIG welders, etc) * Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics * Machine building experience would be hightly preferred but not essential. * Ability to climb ladders or machinery, stoop, crouch, twist, kneel, crawl and walk to access repair area while carrying or moving tools and repair parts, including overhead and floor-to-waist lifting of materials weighing over 50 pounds. * Basic computer literacy and knowlege of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
