This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment operates reliably and efficiently to prevent downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. What You’ll Do Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep equipment operating at required efficiency levels. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including fillers, conveyors, and case erectors. Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Utilize diagnostic tools and test equipment such as vibration meters and laser alignment systems. Maintain accurate work logs and documentation using the CMMS work order system for preventive maintenance, equipment modifications, and emergency repairs. Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent. Journeyman Card or 4+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience). Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures. Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, diagrams, and drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and logical troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use a PC and common software tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to read, write, and understand English, including safety and operating procedures. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on call as needed to support production. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
