Description Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a motivated Maintenance Mechanic I to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining our production equipment and facilities. Your days will be filled with variety as you work from blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance. If you're ready to make a real impact and keep our operations humming, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Work from blueprints, schematics, specifications, and manuals using various tools. Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled. Inspect equipment and facilities, reporting potential issues to supervisors. Perform metal fabrication (welding, drilling, milling, tapping, turning steel) to meet plant needs. Maintain records of work performed and reports as required. Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of work areas and equipment. Execute miscellaneous maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Trade or Technical School preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to interpret setup sheets, SOPs, and communicate effectively. Ability to interpret basic blueprints. Strong problem-solving abilities. Willingness to learn. Detail-oriented. Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
