OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our cold storage warehouse that will complete repairs and provide mechanical support to the facility to ensure continuous operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a mechanic.
• Must have knowledge of electrical systems.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment
• Must be flexible with working hours, and be able to handle after hour repairs.
• Knowledge of refrigeration system is an asset.
• Ability to weld is an asset.

• Inspect, repair, install, maintain and improve various types of warehouse machinery (Forklifts, Ride On Walkies, Reach Trucks, etc)
• Inspection and repair on facility equipment such as dock plates, dock doors, high speed freezer doors, refrigeration system, dock shelters, chock system, racking etc.
• Maintenance and repair on the facilities electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and fire suppression systems.
• Complete preventable maintenance on all equipment.
• Complete regular day to day maintenance repairs on the facility (Office and Warehouse).
