Description

Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic-Electrical Pay Rate: $38.00/hr. Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 90 days $500 after 6 months Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Monday – Friday 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) Physical Location: St. Louis Container Facility 1201 North Highway Drive Fenton, Missouri 63026 The Job You Will Perform: * Following all safety rules and practices * Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels * Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations * Accurately using measurement and test equipment * Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed * Maintain clean and organized work area, and cleaning up work area as part of completing assigned tasks * Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork * Troubleshooting and solving problems * Maintaining teamwork with other associates; and * Performing other duties as assigned by supervision The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring: * Requires strong electrical and mechanical skills and aptitude * Strong troubleshooting skills * Written and verbal communications skills * Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics * High School Diploma or GED required * Post High School training preferred * Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices * Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience * Ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team * Corrugated Industry Maintenance experience preferred; and * Must be willing to work OT including Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
