Functional OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic's primary role is to maintain and support the reliability of manufacturing equipment and processes. Additional responsibilities include effective troubleshooting and problem solving, efficient repair, and documentation and communication of technical processes, for various mechanical and electrical equipment. Responsibilities Observes mechanical equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble• Ability to repair and maintain manufacturing equipment, roll-forming, slitting, paint line, stamping, etc • Diagnose equipment failures and provide recommendations for proper repair course of action• Dismantles equipment to remove and replace defective parts• Adjusts functional parts of equipment and control instruments• Uses hand tools, measurement devices (such as micrometers, calipers, etc) and shop equipment to repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.• Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery.• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Qualifications • 3 – 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment• Strong problem solving and mechanical skills• Ability to work a flexible schedule (potentially on call for emergencies)• Can read and interpret prints, specifications and Maintenance Manuals• Comfortable standing for a long period of time• Can lift 50lbs• Must read and write in English Major Medical, Dental, Vision. 401K, PTO, Quartey Bonus, Amazing room for advancement and many other great perks.Englert Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #ENGINDMM
