Description Overview: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to conveyors, forklifts, buildings and all other equipment as required. Essential Functions: Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.) Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment. Repair. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.) Able to learn and use work order system. Schedule and maintain records of preventative maintenance on key machinery and equipment. Assist in the general upkeep of the facility. Work with contractors and vendors to solve problems. Able to work with minimal supervision. Other duties as determined by supervisor to be necessary in performance of the job. Requirements Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: · At least 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience and preferred in Distribution/Warehouse facility. · Mechanical knowledge required. · Electrical experience preferred. · Welding and cutting preferred. · Trouble shooting Electrical and mechanical. · Experience working on conveyor systems preferred. · Able to perform basic building maintenance such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry. · General warehouse experience. · Basic computer skills required. · Must have a valid TX driver license and reliable transportation. · Previous experience in fast pace environment. · Able to life 50lb, bend, kneel, squat, stand and work in elevated heights.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment including conveyors and forklifts. Assist in the general upkeep of the facility and troubleshoot equipment problems.
