Built as a family business, Nordic Ice partners with each of its clients to create custom solutions that meet and exceed expectations for temperature-controlled packaging and manufacturing. We are looking for dependable, resourceful Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Hatfield, PA. Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred. Responsibilities: Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals, etc. Perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time. Maintain parts and supplies inventory and reorder as necessary. Follow all required safety practices including lockout-tagout and wearing required PPE. Floater between lines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements • High school diploma or general education (GED) • Previous mechanical and electrical machine repair experience necessary • Knowledge of PLC system and interpreting electrical schematics preferred • Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints and procedures • Basic computer skills • Able to perform basic mathematical functions • At least 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, industrial or warehouse environment • Sound judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to lift 50lbs and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently We offer a competitive hourly wage plus a comprehensive benefit package.
