Description
    The Maintenance Mechanic directly supports daily plant productivity and operations by ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are maintained. This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all food processing and packaging equipment.    RESPONSIBILITIES:   * Responsible to know, understand, and comply with all Joseph’s Pasta Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Human Safety rules and regulations.  * Adheres to and communicates all operational and/or safety issues to maintenance or operations supervision to avoid accidents and unnecessary downtime.  * Required to use proper safety gear and practices when performing assigned tasks.  * Conducts daily equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality. Tasks include but not limited to machine disassembly, reassembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of malfunctioning parts  * Provides regulatory and preventive maintenance of machinery to improve and sustain efficiency, quality and operations. * Maintains a positive working relationship with fellow team members and other departments * Attend any training as required * Performs any other job-related duties as requested by maintenance or production supervision.
