Shift Time: 11p-7:30a Description RESPONSIBILITES: Skilled, trained and certified in one of the competency areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam control, and related building systems and equipment. Certification and proven competency required in area of competency identified. Provides guidance to maintenance mechanics and assigns and schedules work. Interprets departmental and organizational policies and procedures for staff to ensure consistent practices. Picks-up and distributes work assignments and gives direction to ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Schedules, monitors and directs workflow. Observes and reviews work produced by staff to maintain efficiency and timely services. Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, schematics and written technical documents of general machineries to locate area of trouble and complete repairs accurately. Performs preventive maintenance on related equipment, buildings and building systems to ensure safe and proper operations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree or two years experience. Minimum of three years of experience in building maintenance OR 10 ten years of experience in one of the competency areas. Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist. JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
