Description Maintenance Mechanic Third Shift Versailles, OH Description King’s Command Foods has an opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic I at our Versailles, OH, plant. As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will: Assist higher-level mechanics with duties such as servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical, not electrical principles. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery to ensure it runs at 100% capacity to meet day-to-day production demands. Conveyor belt repair and replacement. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Complete the required paperwork (e.g., maintenance and repair logs). Notify the Manager or supervisor of any malfunctions or repairs needed. NOTE: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. Requirements Requirements Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures, warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job. Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday (occasionally Sunday) with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs. Ability to complete training: Safety Safe Quality Food (SQF) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Food defense Preferred Qualifications: Prior machine operating experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility. Prior maintenance experience. Work history in the last 12 months.
