As a Maintenance Millfitter Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance. Always working in a safe manner, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant as you work collaboratively to make an impact on our processes.

  • Build a solid understanding of plant equipment, procedures, material flow, etc.
  • Diagnose mechanical reasons for failure.
  • Breakdown, assess, and rebuild gear reducers and pumps.
  • Perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures.
  • Layout, fabricate, and install all types of spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guards.
  • Follow plant safety practices at all times.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair screw conveyors, belt conveyors, lift leap and pneumatic conveyance system.
  • Work with vendors to improve plant maintenance practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years maintenance experience in industrial maintenance, military or related environment.
