Description

Aspen Group is a successful and fast growing ASX listed property group. Our focus is to provide quality accommodation on competitive terms in the Living, Lifestyle and Holiday sectors, which are currently in high demand in Australia. We have a large portfolio of assets in Adelaide and South Australia.
Are you a skilled Maintenance Officer with a passion for operating well-maintained communities? We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hands-on individual responsible for the maintenance/gardening functions of our newest acquisition – a portfolio of 19 retirement villages across multiple sites mainly located in the eastern suburbs collectively known as Adelaide Villas.
As the Maintenance Officer you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure that all villages are well maintained. You’ll also work closely with our South Australian Head Office team to ensure the smooth and compliant operation of the portfolio. The role is based out of our Hackney Head Office but will require regular travel to the villages.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance/groundskeeping tasks of the portfolio, making sure the villages are presented to the highest standards at all times.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, and handyman duties
  • Ability to manage preventative maintenance schedules and reactive repairs
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements in an aged care setting
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents and staff
