YHA Hobart provides ideal accommodation with 28 rooms and 110 beds, being the most centrally located traveller lodging in Hobart, just one block from the city’s waterfront. The hostel is conveniently situated within walking distance to the MONA museum ferry at Constitution Dock, Salamanca Place, and numerous bars, restaurants, and cafes.

• Always act in a way that promotes YHA’s values, philosophy, and mission;
• Work with minimum supervision as a part of the property team and assist other team members as required;
• Assisting in the coordination and/or provision of first aid in the event of an accident; Correctly following emergency procedures and direct guests in the event of an emergency; Applying corporate EEO Policies;
• Ensuring all personal information is handled in accordance with YHA’s privacy policies; and
• Performing other relevant duties as outlined in the Operations Manual, the specific property Operations Manual, and as directed by the Property Manager or Building &
• Facilities Manager within your level of training and/or competency.
