About the Organisation
D2PropCo is a provider of maintenance services to housing associations across South Wales, we committed to delivering excellence across all aspects of our operations. We are seeking to appoint a number of skilled and professional Maintenance Operatives to support the continued efficiency, safety, and functionality of our facilities.
Role Purpose
The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for undertaking a broad range of maintenance duties to ensure that all buildings, equipment, and services remain in optimal condition. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical competence, a proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the estate. * Undertaking basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks to a high standard. * Assisting in the delivery of preventative maintenance schedules and compliance checks. * Responding promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising workloads effectively. * Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. * Supporting health, safety, and environmental standards in line with legislation and company procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a maintenance, facilities, or building services role. * Sound knowledge of general building maintenance practices. * Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions and documentation. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Flexibility to support operational requirements, including occasional out-of-hours work where necessary. * A valid driving licence is desirable.
