Location: Skypark, 8 Elliot Place, Glasgow, G3 8EP
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in maintenance roles, ideally in a commercial or residential property setting.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies if needed.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £34,692.00 per year

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the daily functionality and safety of our facilities. Your work will include a variety of maintenance tasks, from waste handling, plumbing and electrical repairs to general building upkeep. You’ll ensure the property remains in top condition and help create a seamless experience for our tenants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and building upkeep.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep the building and grounds in excellent condition.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and handle urgent repairs as needed.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Work alongside the Facilities Manager and maintenance team to prioritize and tackle tasks efficiently.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies when necessary.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with high attention to detail and in adherence to safety protocols.
