Robbins Parking is excited to welcome a full-time team member to our Maintenance & Patrol team in Nanaimo, BC. We are looking for motivated, energetic individuals who thrive in a self-directed and dynamic work environment. This role offers a competitive starting wage of $20–$22/hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Physically fit and capable of performing physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clean driver’s abstract (must be submitted with resume)
  • Able to pass a criminal record check
  • Prior experience with tools or security is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

MAINTENANCE DUTIES:

  • General parking lot upkeep and garbage removal
  • Installation of signage and parking equipment using power tools
  • Meter maintenance and cash collection
  • Cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles
  • Operating power tools and equipment safely
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule
  • Lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs

PATROL DUTIES:

  • Greet and assist customers using our facilities
  • Guide guests on meter usage, directions, and lot-specific information
  • Issue parking notices for non-compliance with posted regulations
  • Monitor lots and report maintenance needs
  • Professionally and respectfully escort individuals off premises when necessary
  • Ensure a high standard of safety, courtesy, and professionalism
