Description SUMMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Maintenance Performance Analyst is responsible for driving operational excellence through data-driven insights. This role focuses on extracting and analyzing maintenance data to improve plant reliability, monitoring KPI deviations, and ensuring that maintenance scheduling is supported by accurate reporting and readiness validation. You will serve as the analytical bridge between the refinery’s maintenance execution and its strategic performance goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance Analytics & Reporting Data Extraction & Reporting: Pull data from the refinery’s management systems to generate and report metrics on maintenance performance, plant reliability, and spare part inventory status. Performance Optimization: Review available data to identify deviations from targets and provide actionable recommendations to recover and improve performance. Process Improvement: Identify specific opportunities for improvement in the planning and execution of maintenance activities based on historical data trends. Planning & Scheduling Support Readiness Validation: Validate completed job kits to ensure all required components (parts, materials, consumables) are included and properly staged. Status Communication: Communicate job readiness status to the Planner/Scheduler to ensure work orders are released only when fully prepared. Constraint Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve resource or material gaps that may delay scheduled work. Inventory Coordination & Control Strategic Recommendations: Recommend changes to inventory levels within the management system to better support maintenance activities and reliability targets. Continuous Monitoring: Monitor levels for critical spare parts and maintenance consumables. Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports related to availability, shortages, and overall job readiness status. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE · Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience. · Systems Knowledge: Basic understanding of enterprise management systems (SAP preferred). · Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of attention to detail. · Technical Growth: A willingness to learn and grow technical system administration and data management skills. QUALIFICATIONS Must successfully complete Atalco Gramercy’s required drug screening and physical examination. TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required prior to offer acceptance; MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) training to be completed upon hire. Introductory system coursework or related certifications (e.g., Technology Associate). Basic knowledge of databases (SAP) or operating systems (Linux/Windows). Experience in IT support, help desk, or technical system administration. Key Competencies Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate raw data into meaningful performance metrics. Communication: Strong skills in conveying technical data to both technical and non-technical team members. Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced refinery team environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret information. Ability to write reports and basics business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers and the general public.
