Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry work, HVAC, and general building systems
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their stay
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address potential issues before they affect guests
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to support special events or unique guest needs
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Chief Engineer or any other Hotel Manager

Requirements:

• Essential experience in a maintenance role within a hospitality environment is a must
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 lbs
• Capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly organized, with the ability to work independently and efficiently when required
• Excellent at identifying and resolving issues independently
• Effective communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Comfortable with flexible working hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Relevant certifications or training (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) is a plus
