Maintenance Person (Farm) Who you are! * You enjoy working with farm animals and completing a variety of farm and general maintenance tasks including * daily animal care (feeding, watering, cleaning) * assisting with vet checks and grooming * lawn, landscape, and trail maintenance * and more! * You're at least 18 years old with high school completion or GED * You have at least 1 year of general maintenance experience required; 1 year farm animal experience preferred Please see attached job description for more information on essential functions, qualifications, physical requirements, knowledge and skills, and more. Summary The Maintenance Person (Farm) is responsible for performing a variety of farm and general maintenance tasks within the MetroParks.  About * 40 hours per week * Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p; 3 weekends throughout the year * Bi-weekly pay * Starting $18.82 per hour (increases to $19.48 on 4/1) Benefits * 14% OPERS employer contribution * Optional Deferred Compensation * Anthem Healthcare (60 day waiting period) * PPO or HSA * Dental * Vision * Accident * $25,000 term life insurance policy * 13 paid holidays * Paid vacation, sick, personal, and eligible compensatory time * $450 uniform allowance in each contract year Who we are!
