As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that keep our buildings and grounds in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general structural issues. Maintain grounds and outdoor areas to ensure safety and cleanliness. Handle maintenance requests from staff and residents in a timely manner. Conduct preventative maintenance and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities. Assist with the setup for special events and support facilities with various maintenance needs. Collaborate with external contractors as needed for specialized repairs and services. Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at all times. Proven experience in maintenance or repair work (building or facility maintenance preferred). Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid UK driving licence is essential. Availability to work flexible hours as needed for maintenance tasks.
