MAINTENANCE PLANNER – 1st SHIFT (Tech) POSITION SUMMARY This salaried, exempt position plans and coordinates maintenance activities using work orders and CMMS/Wo system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Plan and schedule the ongoing maintenance and preventive maintenance for all of the plant equipment, building and facilities in coordination with production and maintenance supervisors. Assume maintenance shift manager responsibilities in the event of an absence. Continuously improve preventive maintenance effectiveness through optimizing work, detail, frequency and parts required. Responsible for managing work orders to include: Coordination with other departments (i.e. engineering) Creating additional sketches and diagrams for clarification Estimating the cost of direct labor, materials, etc. Schedule internal & external time, material and resources for preventative, predictive and reactive work orders Obtain required materials and maintain inventory for efficient & cost-effective completion of work orders Manage and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS/Wo). Perform other duties as assigned by management. Maintain regular and punctual attendance in accordance with scheduled work hours and overtime as assigned. Meet all physical and environmental requirements. Follow all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Policy regulations, including the proper use of all required personal protective equipment. REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Two or more years of related experience in a maintenance planning or engineering position.
