Position: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Location: Ford Oakville/ Windsor Job Type: In Person Reports to: Complex Manager Department: North American Operations Position Purpose: Plan, Schedule, Production Equipment PM workflow and balancing.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   * Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec. * Works safely at all times. * Follow all safety rules/guidelines/policies established Leadec and our customer. * Assist in preparation of detailed work packages and job plans that include equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools and for the delivery of these parts and services when they are needed * Supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling when maintenance resources are available * Maintains established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improve * Assist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department. * Assist with the planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO) * Assist the maintenance manager with maintaining estimate for craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work order * Routinely meets with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and the appropriate work packages completed and available * Perform periodic audits on preventative maintenance plans and make corrections as needed. * Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively. * Identify areas of improvement, maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, material consumption and equipment life and serviceability * All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.   Competencies:   * Managing Tasks * Open Communication * Self-Management   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   * Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees. * Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively. * Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers. * Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances. * Problem Solving - Defining problems and bring about viable solutions. * Leadership -- Strives to delegate, balance workloads and achieve consensus; has a flexible yet effective management style. * Proven multi-tasking capabilities, ability to plan, prioritize and manage projects under aggressive timelines. * Effectively create and maintain records and documentation. * Attention to detail * Procedural Compliance   Position Qualifications:   * High school diploma * Technical Maintenance Background. * 5-10 years of related experience * CMMS systems skills (Maximo required). * Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Gantt Charts * Critical Path Analysis * Resource leveling * Development of planner reference systems   Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:   * Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours.
