POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning a broad range of activities. Activities may include development, standardization and execution of the M&TE Program, development and execution of the Oak Ridge Fleet Maintenance Program, and various other scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities at the Oak Ridge site. A successful candidate will be proficient in managing site equipment inventories ensuring compliance with site procedures and NQA-1 quality requirements. The role requires interaction with company asset management systems, procurement systems, and records management systems. This position will interface with various departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, and Finance.
The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Manager.

• Knowledge of business software applications and Microsoft applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or satisfactory completion of the General Educational Development test
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences OR combination of technical certification (military/vocational) and two years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the position.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” security clearance

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience planning and coordinating equipment maintenance with contracted service providers (Calibration Facilities, Automotive Service Centers, etc.)
• Active “Q” or Top Secret security clearance
