Responsibilities

THE ROLE & PROJECT

MACA are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner – crushing to join our corporate support centre in our Welshpool office, centrally located to all major road links and with onsite parking. We deliver crushing services for valued clients in the Perth Metro, Southwest, Pilbara and Goldfields.
The Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive maintenance schedules, prioritising maintenance tasks based on criticality and impact on production and analysing maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and communicate the 2-weekly maintenance plan
  • Work with the long-term planning team to manage the 3-month LTP / major components plan and ensure compliance
  • Lead the weekly plan review meeting with the site team
  • Develop shut plans for safe and effective execution of major shut events
  • Process oil sample bottles and review and action results
  • Print and prepare planned job packs
  • Monitor CMMS (AMT) hygiene
  • Order fitment parts and organise labour for upcoming major work
  • Review completed job packs and enters any condition monitoring data
  • Update tyre management system as required
  • Manage statutory tasks such as registerable plant and fire suppression
  • Provide feedback to corporate team regarding effectiveness of maintenance strategies at your site

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in mobile and fixed plant maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Experience in developing and managing maintenance management systems – AMT is advantageous
  • Experience in prioritising multiple tasks and successfully working to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Sound computer literacy
