Description

Position Summary: The Maintenance is responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing resource utilization. They plan and schedule maintenance tasks, manage work orders, and coordinate with maintenance technicians and other departments to ensure timely and effective repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe working environment in accordance with company, state, and federal safety policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the preventive maintenance workflow to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Create, manage, and track work orders, ensuring that all necessary information is documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.
  • Identify and procure necessary parts, tools, and materials, ensuring that maintenance technicians have everything they need to complete their tasks.
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated and that all parties are kept informed of progress and any potential issues.
  • Track the performance of equipment and facilities, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for maintenance activities, helping to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Participate in root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop corrective actions.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to the Plant Asst. Engineer and Plant Engineer.
  • Maintain accurate records of service cycles and other maintenance activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain professionalism, a positive attitude, and appropriate workplace behavior.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various maintenance-related issues.
  • Operate heavy equipment and necessary shop equipment.
  • Meet required deadlines efficiently.
  • Work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environments.
  • Possess knowledge of OSHA-related regulations and compliance.
