EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • The preferred levels of education are a Higher National Diploma or National Vocational Qualification Level 4 or 3 in a technical or science subject, although relevant other qualifications with energy recovery or large process plant experience will be considered for the role.
  • An apprenticeship completed in an engineering discipline will also be considered.
  • Prince2 qualification in project management is desirable.

This role requires experience in the following:

  • Experience of maintenance planning and management activities in a large industrial facility.
  • Working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience of managing contractors and work packages.
  • Working knowledge of COSHH.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is desirable.
Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • The Maintenance Planner will take ownership of the development and implementation of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Plan, prioritise and track all planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities and raise associated work orders and work requests.
  • Create and communicate accurate weekly and monthly CMMS reports to the site management.
  • Communicate maintenance and outage planning to the onsite O&M teams and the wider Encyclis Engineering and Maintenance departments.
  • Liaise with the Inventory Controller on availability and planning of spare parts and equipment.
  • Fully conversant with maintenance processes and techniques with the ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute planned outages.
  • Promote and support the delivery of Encyclis’s Safety Rules and Safe Systems of Work, and work in accordance with all ACOP, SMI and LMI to ensure we are setting people to work safely.
  • Reporting any Health, Safety and Environmental unsafe conditions, accidents or incidents.
  • Support the implementation of short and long term maintenance strategies in line with industry best practices and technical procedures.
  • Obtain the relevant maintenance procedures, method statements and risk assessments, lifting plans and associated work packs required for all maintenance activities within the ERF boundary.
  • Responsible for outage planning in line with the CDM requirements and coordinate pre/post outage review meetings and deliver accurate outage plans and reports.
  • Lead the procurement of maintenance contracted services and the selection of competent contractors.
  • Take an active role in the Management of Change (MOC) process. To include document management control, MOC guidance and assisting the O&M teams to complete all administrative aspects to drive to completion.
  • Ensure the asset register is accurate and regularly updated to reflect all Management of Change completions.Contactable during emergency situations and plant breakdowns when necessary.
